A fun wedding bursting with colour at Great Fosters Hotel.

If you are looking for inspiration for a fun & colourful wedding then look no further, Francesca and Jeremy nailed it with their stunning Great Fosters Wedding in Egham.  From the very first moment I met them, they where so bubbly and happy, I just knew I would be in for a treat!

For their pre-wedding shoot they took me to the beach! How lucky am I!? ha-ha. We got on instantly and by the time the wedding day came, I felt like a true friend lucky enough to capture their day for them too.

A few words from the couple:

Anything you would personally like to share about your day?

We were extremely lucky to have beautiful weather for our outdoor ceremony and for everything to run smoothly. The bright colours really made our photos striking and everyone loved them. Francesca loved having her closest friends around on the morning of the wedding, that made it even more exciting and special knowing they were by her side. She remembers walking to the end of the aisle turning round and seeing all our friends and family and this took her breath away. I personally enjoyed seeing how happy everyone was for us and having a chance to celebrate our special day with them all.

Any advice to future couples you have since learnt about the planning process/ wedding day?

Our lesson was to plan well in advance and organise suppliers early. We did so and were lucky as a lot of suppliers mentioned how they were fully booked up not long after we secured our booking. We had planned our budget in advance and we probably budgeted 10% less than we should. The key to everything was planning, planning, planning. We had a number of spreadsheets for guest lists, budgets, schedules etc and this made everything run smoothly upto and on the big day. I think the most important thing is that both future bride and groom are actively involved in the process. Although one may have the ideas it’s important the other party gives feedback and helps with organising. It’s far to much work for one person to plan alone. Plus it’s good preparation for the teamwork required for the marriage that follows!

Thank you Francesca & Jeremy for asking me to capture your special day, big love & hugs to you both ~ you guys are the best!
