“From the very first meeting I knew we’d made the right choice with Lucy; she is so friendly and sweet, making you instantly feel comfortable. Neither my husband or I were particularly keen about being the centre of attention and we weren’t used to being photographed but we were instantly put at ease after our pre-wedding shoot with Lucy. She made everything so much fun and captures genuine moments and emotions that don’t feel or look forced. We also had Kay on the day and they were a great team, seamlessly moving around and capturing moments that we will treasure. They both felt like guests at our wedding and looked like they were really enjoying themselves as well. Thank you Lucy!”

I had so much fun with Portia and Tristan on their pre-shoot in Ashridge, I just knew their wedding day was going to be amazing and so much fun!

Portia and Tristan had their wedding at one of my all time favourite venues Stone Barn in the cotswolds, it’s a visual feast for the eyes!

It was such a lovely relaxed day. The moment I arrived I remember Tristan’s brother coming up to me saying “I know you! I follow you on instagram!” Ha-ha. It’s a small thing but after that conversation I instantly felt like part ‘of the tribe’. I was looked after throughout the day by all family members which i’m so grateful for! Even at the end I had people come up to me saying “Please feel free to stay on and party with us!”

Tristan and the groomsmen where suited and booted by Slaters. I think their outfits looked amazing, and a little different from ‘the norm’. Portia’s wedding dress was from wed2b and it suited her beautifully- she looked stunning!

Portia’s mum actually knows my mum from passed craft workshops, so although I had never met her mum Tamzin, It was nice to see her and have a chat! She showed me a little bag that she had made, so clever! Portia also wore her mums own wedding shoes, so that was such a lovely touch too.

Big thanks to Portia and Tristan for having me along and of course to everyone else who made me feel so welcome. Much love to you all! x
